about me

Science and art are two complementary disciplines that have always fascinated me and have accompanied me throughout my life.

… and Chromophore Kunst

Chromophor is from ancient Greek and means chrṓma ,color‘ and phorós ‚bearing‘. The chromophore is a color-giving ion or molecule group of a chemical compound. My art, with which I reflect my view of things, should also be colourful.

My works feature colors and shapes in acrylic paint on canvas, which are intended to remind us of the beauty of nature. What do you live for if not for all the beauty in the world? The nature in which we live is the best inspiration. The colors and the color balance are often more important to me than the actual shape that is created on the canvas. It’s the aim to feel the scenery and be captivated by the colors and the feeling. The viewer should go on his own journey of discovery and discover details that everyone sees and interprets differently.

The world that surrounds us is full of so much fascination and beauty. It is also constantly changing and in motion. Art is a way of capturing the world as we experience it.
